Lots of people associate the Harry Potter franchise with autumn. This all said, once the schools lock their gates and the littlies are released into the world for another long summer, a Harry Potter marathon is a trusted way to entertain the kids during the school holidays. Since the eight films were stripped off Netflix at the start of 2026, there has been no way to do this (aside from renting each instalment individually). But today we come bearing good news…

In case you missed it, each and every Harry Potter film has been taken off Netflix, which was the UK home of the popular franchise from 2023 to 1 January 2026. So where can we relive the magic of the wizarding world now?

Well, here’s your fix: all eight original Harry Potter films are available to stream on ITVX. That includes:

Warner Bros, the makers of the Harry Potter films, has launched its own streaming platform here in the UK: HBO Max. This is the new UK home of Warner Bros and HBO’s productions, meaning the likes of Games of Thrones, Friends and The White Lotus sit along a back catalogue of films including The Batman, Oscar Best Picture nominee One Battle After Another and, yes, the Harry Potter franchise in full.

HBO Max UK is also where the new TV adaptation of Harry Potter will launch in 2027. Fittingly, they’re dubbing it ‘the best new platform since 9 ¾’.

Monthly subscription prices start from £4.99 and can be taken out directly at hbomax.com or through Now with a Cinema membership. With the Harry Potter films often being removed from ITVX without warning, this is the safest way to ensure you always have access to the Wizarding World.

It’s worth noting that the Basic plans include ads – but we just see that as the perfect moment for a popcorn refill. To go ad-free on HBO Max you’ll need a Standard subscription, which starts at £9.99 per month.

1. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001): Harry discovers he’s a wizard and begins his magical education at Hogwarts, where he faces Lord Voldemort for the first time.
2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002): Harry returns to Hogwarts for his second year and uncovers a hidden chamber within the school, battling an ancient monster unleashed by Voldemort’s younger self.
3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004): Harry learns about Sirius Black, a notorious fugitive thought to have betrayed his parents, but later discovers Sirius is his godfather and an ally.
4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005): Harry unexpectedly competes in the dangerous Triwizard Tournament, where Voldemort returns to full power during a deadly confrontation.
5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007): Harry forms a secret student group to prepare for the coming war against Voldemort, while battling the corrupt Ministry of Magic and its oppressive new regime at Hogwarts.
