A festive feast for the senses

If you want something a little more authentic than a meet and greet at your local shopping centre, LaplandUK brings the home of Father Christmas to the English countryside (or Swinley Forest in Ascot, to be exact) with a theatrical immersive experience. Here’s everything you need to know – and how you can nab some coveted tickets.

LaplandUK: How To Get Tickets To This Sellout Immersive Experience

What is LaplandUK?

LaplandUK is a 90-minute, multi-sensory (and multi-award winning) experience that will bring Christmas to life for the whole family. Favoured by some seriously big names including David Beckham, Elton John and even the royals, it’s a wildly popular event – 200,000 people joined the waiting list last year, and tickets sold out in only a few hours.

So what’s all the fuss about? Based on the original stories of Mike & Alison Battle, LaplandUK reimagines the legend of Father Christmas and his Elves and introduces families to a secret ancient ‘Elven civilisation’ hidden deep in the forest. Upon purchasing a ticket, children will receive a personalised, wax-sealed invitation from Father Christmas, who (along with the Elves) need their help to finish making toys for boys and girls around the world. On arrival, they will be issued with an Elven passport to travel the secret pathways to magical Lapland, where activities will include visiting Mother Christmas’ kitchen to decorate Father Christmas’ favourite treat to working alongside the Elves in the magnificent Toy Factory. During the event, you can stock up on snacks from the café, sweet shop or pantry, and if you’re after a meal, you can head to Pumpernickel’s, the onsite restaurant.

When Does It Take Place?

LaplandUK will run for six weeks, from 9 November to 24 December 2024.

Where Is It?

Whitmoor Forest,
Swinley Rd,
Winkfield Row, Ascot, SL5 8BD.

Ticket Prices

LaplandUK tickets start at £60pp plus booking fees, with premium packages costing up to £190pp. You can expect higher prices for weekend dates, as well as those closer to Christmas Eve.
