Here’s How To Watch The James Bond Films For Free In The UK

James Bond fan? Us too – but the films can often be hard to pin down. Which streaming service are they floating on now? Well, luckily for UK fans, many of the iconic movies are now streaming for free on one particular network’s on-demand service. Drumroll please…

James Bond Is Now Streaming On ITVX

That’s right: ITVX has launched a brand new James Bond collection, with seven of the 25 iconic films available to stream for free. The films that are available right now include:

• Skyfall (2012)
• GoldenEye (1995)
• Licence To Kill (1989)
• The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
• On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969)
• Goldfinger (1964)
• Dr. No (1962)

Meanwhile, superfans can also tune in to three intriguing documentaries: Everything Or Nothing, which explores the rise of the franchise; Being James Bond, which delves into Daniel Craig’s experience as the iconic character; and Bond Girls Are Forever, which explores the rise of the iconic trope.

It’s all part of a landmark, first of its kind deal between ITV and Amazon MGM Studios, which allows the films to stream on ITVX for 30 days after they have aired on ITV. Since 4 March, a selection of Bond films have been aired on ITV4, immediately becoming available to stream on ITVX afterwards. The above films are the first batch – showcasing a film from each lead so far – and will be followed by the remaining 18 movies over time.

According to ITV, in a sly hack, ‘the collection of 25 official Bond films is scheduled to air multiple times a year on ITV channels’. So we can expect a rotating roster of Bond films to be available at all times.

‘It doesn’t get any more iconic than James Bond and we are honoured to bring this fantastic catalogue of films to our viewers both on our linear channels and via catch-up on ITVX,’ says Darren Nartey, Senior Acquisitions Manager: Films & Kids at ITV. ‘Now, where is my martini…’.
