The cult US brand is coming to London

Since launching out of a car park in West Hollywood in 2017, street food concept Dave’s Hot Chicken has become an A-list favourite, loved by everyone from Drake to Usher. This December, the food chain is opening its first UK branch – but before that, Londoners are being given a chance to try its cult Nashville-style chicken sliders at a secret pop-up.

Dave’s Hot Chicken Is Coming To London

On 20 November, Dave’s Hot Chicken will be offering Brits a first taste of its dishes at a pop-up hosted in an east London car park – a nod to its roots. The car park will open to the public at 5pm, although the brand is recommending arriving early to get a spot in the queue. Better still, the food is being given out for free.

The brand is famed for its fried chicken, with a simple menu centred around tenders, sliders and sandwiches with varying levels of spice.

Co-founder Arman Oganesyan said: ‘We started in a parking lot, so we’re excited to kick off our exciting London adventure with that same energy. We can’t wait to greet Londoners and visitors alike and give them the full Dave’s experience…on us! All we can say is be prepared to get your hands on some of the hottest, most succulent chicken you’ve ever had.’

Full details of the pop-up will be revealed on the Dave’s Hot Chicken Instagram, so keep an eye out over the next few days.

Dave’s Hot Chicken has seen huge success since it was born in California, becoming the fastest growing fast food chain in the US – with over 200 outposts around North America. And later this year, the chain is coming to this side of the pond, opening its first UK branch on Shaftesbury Avenue in London, with plans for many more to launch over the next few years.

How To Find It

The pop-up will take place in the car park outside 5A Club Row, London E1 6JX (behind Rich Mix cinema) on 20 November from 5pm. daveshotchicken.com
