Here are your options when it comes to dining at Silverstone

The British Grand Prix returns to Silverstone for its 75th anniversary from 4 – 6 July 2025, promising four days of thrilling racing on one of the world’s most famous tracks. But that’s not the only reason to go: the event also has plenty to offer foodies. From Michelin-starred fine dining to pub roasts, we bring you a guide to all the food and drink available at Silverstone.

Silverstone’s F1 British Grand Prix: Food & Drink Guide

Street Food

There’s an abundance of street food on offer at Silverstone: Mexican tacos, woodfired pizza, crepes, Korean bao buns, burgers, you name it. Vans serving an array of drinks are dotted around the circuit too, serving cocktails, fizz and more.

Octane Terrace

For a more formal dining experience, you’ll need hospitality tickets to access The Octane Terrace – the culinary hub of Silverstone, which overlooks the inside track at the fastest part of the circuit. An impressive line-up of chefs are primed to cook at this year’s F1, including Angela Hartnett, executive chef of London favourite Murano, and Lisa Goodwin-Allen, who has been at the helm of the Michelin-starred Northcote restaurant for a decade. They’ll be joined by Padstow chef Paul Ainsworth, Andrew Wong, who runs eponymous London restaurant A Wong, and Tommy Banks, the chef founder of The Black Swan at Oldstead. Together, they rack up a combined seven Michelin stars.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Kick off your day at Silverstone with an ultimate breakfast sandwich from Banks, or French toast with mascarpone and caramelised apples, created by Hartnett.

For lunch, Goodwin-Allen gives the hot dog an upgrade with Lancashire cheese, sweet mustard Lancashire butter pie, and caramelised crispy onions. Ainsworth has created dishes like three cheese and onion arancini, while Wong’s offering includes XO fried rice, or a tofu alternative. Craving Italian? Tuck into Hartnett’s rigatoni cacio e pepe, followed by hazelnut pavlova with raspberries.

And if you fancy a bite to eat mid-afternoon, grab some fennel crusted sausage rolls, saddleback pork croquettes, or a bowl of strawberries and cream. Plenty of drinks are available in the Octane Terrace too, including beer, wine, prosecco and coffee.

Escapade Silverstone

Opened in spring 2025, Escapade is a hotel situated on the edge of the Silverstone Circuit. It’s home to a restaurant and bar where you can dine while soaking up unparalleled views of the track, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner – plus a Sunday roast. The menu focuses on classic British fare: begin with small plates of crispy pork belly, and shellfish bisque, ahead of large plates such as wild mushroom barley risotto, yellowfin tuna steak, and a sharing harissa-marinated monkfish. On a sunny day, be sure to head to the rooftop terrace, which serves drinks like the Orange & Rosemary Spritz, made with Aperol, orange bitters, champagne and soda.

The White Horse

In the centre of Silverstone village you’ll find The White Horse, a quintessential British pub where many racing stars have dined over the years, from Graham Hill to Stirling Moss. Located just 10 minutes from the circuit, it serves small plates, soft shell tacos, steaks, grills and fish and chips, with a carvery on offer on Sundays.
