Irish parties are popping up across the city this March
Few feast days spark as much revelry as St Patrick’s Day, a celebration of the patron saint of Ireland. Every year on 17 March, thousands of people come together donning green outfits and shamrock face paint to mark the day with parades, traditional Irish food and of course plenty of Guinness. Naturally, festivities are particularly lively across Ireland, but Londoners can get involved too, with many bars and restaurants throwing special parties for the occasion. Here’s where to get involved with St Patrick’s Day in London in 2026.

For the main event, there’s lamb stew or clover and asparagus risotto, finishing in the best way: with a generous slice of Guinness chocolate cake.
