Eat your way around the capital's best restaurants at this vibrant food event


Twice a year, London’s foodies congregate at Taste of London: the ultimate celebration of the capital’s food scene. The festival returns to Regent’s Park for an extra special 20th anniversary event from 12 – 16 June, offering five days of restaurant pop-ups, chef demonstrations, live entertainment and more. Restaurants

Taste of London is a chance to try some of London’s best food, all under one (open air) roof. The restaurant line-up is stronger than ever this year, with 36 pop-ups and stalls from some of the best eateries in town – both city stalwarts and buzzy new openings. This includes:

  • Angelina – Japanese/Italian
  • Mimosa Riviera at The Langham – French/Italian 
  • Milk Beach – Australian
  • Bone Daddies – ramen
  • Le Petit Beefbar – French
  • Roti King – Malaysian
  • YOPO at The Mandrake – South-American
  • Faber – sustainable seafood
  • ROKA – Japanese

Activities

Jeremy Allen White as Carmy in The Bear

The Bear Experience

Fan of The Bear? Step into the shoes of Carmy and the gang at this special experience, created in collaboration with Disney+. We can’t promise Jeremy Allen White will be there, but you’ll have a chance to try dishes inspired by the show, such as beef cheek and bone marrow doughnuts, and potato röstis with cheddar and comté custard.

BBQ Cook School

Brush up on your BBQ skills at this cook school offering, where you can learn the tricks of the trade from a string of top live fire chefs. Plus, you’ll get a chance to have a go on the tongs yourself – and enjoy some sizzling dishes afterwards.

Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Garden

Who doesn’t love a glass of fizz to get into the festival spirit? Head to the Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Garden for a spot of champagne, take part in special masterclasses and participate in giveaways to win prizes.

Taste Tee

For a break from all the food, stop by the festival’s golf course, created by Ballers Crazy Golf. Play a game or two with your fellow festival-goers, Pimentae cocktail in hand, and putt your way through nine holes of crazy golf.

Taste Sessions with The Royal Parks

Take part in talks surrounding sustainability and wellbeing at the Taste Sessions – topics being discussed this year include protection of biodiversity and animal welfare, and the importance of plant-based eating.

Grana Padano PDO Cheese & Prosecco DOC

If you’re partial to a cheese and wine night, be sure to factor in a visit to the Grana Padano stall, where you can try a variety of cheeses while sipping prosecco. Learn from wine expert Neil Phillips, chef Danilo Cortellini and a number of special guests along the way.

The Fire Pit

Always a highlight at Taste of London is The Fire Pit, which returns for another year of theatrics and delicious food. Catch appearances from the likes of Great British Menu winner James Cochran, Million Pound Menu star Jay Morjaria, and self-taught chef and television personality Big Zuu – all while enjoying lively music from DJs.

Cook School With Lee Kum Kee

Ask top foodie names your burning kitchen questions at the Cook School, where you can get up close and personal with chefs including two Michelin-starred Andrew Wong and former Apprentice candidate April Jackson.

The festival will take place from 12 – 16 June 2024. The timings are:

  • Fri 14 June: 12 – 4pm, 5.30 – 9.30pm
  • Sat 15 June: 12 – 4pm, 5.30 – 9pm
  • Sun 16 June: 12 – 5pm

Where Is It?

Taste of London takes place in Regent’s Park. The nearest tube stations are Baker Street, Regent’s Park and Great Portland Street.
