Northcote – Ribble Valley, Lancashire

The North

Northcote is a luxury boutique hotel in the beautiful Ribble Valley. An oasis of gastronomic excellence, it has held a Michelin star for more than 20 years, with a chef’s table, cookery school and kitchen garden alongside its restaurant. Executive Chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen, known for her appearances on Great British Menu, has created a fresh, modern menu that makes the most of seasonal produce from the garden and the best local ingredients. Choose from A La Carte or the new Gourmet six-course Menu. Managing Director, Craig Bancroft, oversees a carefully curated cellar of unique wines. Twenty-six luxurious, spacious rooms are divided between the original 1880 Manor House and Garden Lodge. All are thoughtfully decorated with distinctive furniture, discreetly integrated hi-tech multimedia equipment and contemporary bathrooms.

The historic market town of Clitheroe is just a 10-minute drive away, with an abundance of charming, independent shops. A short walk up to the town’s medieval castle offers picturesque Ribble Valley views on a clear day.

Try Lisa Goodwin-Allen’s incredible 6-course tasting menu at Northcote for a real taste of Lancashire with a contemporary twist.
