A year 9 pupil at Bancroft’s School, Caitlin Hancock, has won Silver in Long Jump.
Caitlin achieved a personal best in the Girls U15 Long Jump in February’s England Athletics National Indoor Championships.

Caitlin jumped a personal best of 5.47m, meaning she is currently ranked the number one U15 Long Jumper in England and number 2 in the UK.

Head of Athletics at Bancroft’s, Ms Jemma Cresswell said: ‘We could not be more proud of Caitlin as this is a tremendous achievement. We wish her the best of luck in all her forthcoming competitions and we look forward to hearing more news of her athletics.’
