The Curriculum

Broad, sympathetic to the students and challenging. Computer science and politics are new additions at A-level. A growing co-curricular programme with student leadership displayed through the organisation of many clubs.

Games & The Arts

Our philosophy is to encourage a participation in sport for healthy and active life. Core curriculum sports are netball, hockey, cricket and athletics. We also do swimming, gym and dance. We offer a wide range of extra curricular provision which includes football, tag rugby, ballet, table tennis, street dance, basketball and yoga. School Games Award 2019; Gold Artsmark Award 2019

Pastoral Care

At St. Francis College, we are passionate about the wellbeing of our pupils. Through our wellbeing committees, we fundamentally believe in the power of pupil voice. Our school council led by the sixth-form and student council with representatives from year seven to year 11 are fundamental in the design and implementation of new pastoral initiatives. In February we were successful in achieving a nationally recognised award, The Wellbeing Award for Schools; .
