The Curriculum

Games & The Arts
Our games programme offers pupils opportunities to explore different sports through comprehensive major and minor sports programmes. Arts enjoy a strong profile and pupils are encouraged to develop their own diverse talents and to make their own mark on the creative life of the school.
Pastoral Care
Pupils receive pastoral support through two distinct structures. Pupils are allocated to a house upon joining the school and remain in that house as they move up through the school. Each house is managed by a housemaster. The day-to-day care of pupils falls to tutors, who monitor their academic progress, general welfare and co-curricular involvement. Complementing the house structure is the ‘horizontal’ year structure which is overseen by heads of section.

Outstanding Characteristics
- The setting is a special and integral part of a Norwich School education. Daily assemblies in the cathedral provide a unique sense of history and community. And, being right in the middle of the city is an added bonus.
- The school seems to have the knack of producing pupils who are not in a mould (celebrating people’s strengths and talents of all kinds is really important), but who are self-confident without arrogance, who are warm and open, and mix readily.
