A breakdown of the fashion mogul’s bling
Upon the release of Victoria Beckham’s new Netflix documentary series, aptly named Victoria Beckham, one thing that caught viewers’ attention was her impressive engagement ring collection. Since her marriage to David Beckham in 1999, Victoria has amassed 15 engagement rings, all gifted by the famous footballer. Worth a combined total of approximately £32m, with each one marking a milestone in the fashion icon’s career or personal life, we break down the stunning collection all the way from the original engagement ring from 1998, to some of her more unique pieces.
How Much Are Each Of Victoria Beckham’s Engagement Rings Worth?

1998: The Marquise-Cut Diamond
The one where it all began, this ring was the first of Victoria’s collection after David proposed to the Spice Girl during a romantic dinner at the Rookery Hall Hotel, Cheshire. He popped the question with a three-carat marquise-cut diamond on a yellow gold band. ‘That first ring was everything late-90s glamour stood for,’ notes Neil Dutta, managing director of engagement ring specialists Angelic Diamonds, with the marquise shape being ‘popular with celebrities at the time’ and setting the tone for ‘the excitement of their engagement’.
Estimation – £30,000
2003: The Emerald-Cut Diamond
Victoria not only made a statement at the 2003 MTV Awards by sporting matching outfits with David, but the estimated six-carat emerald-cut diamond on her ring finger also caught everybody’s attention. Composed of side baguettes, the emerald cut, explains Dutta, marked her shift from pop star to polished designer. ‘It’s a timeless shape with clean symmetry, perfect for someone developing a more tailored personal style.’
Estimation – £1.2 million
2004: The Pink Oval Diamond
Marking the most extravagant of them yet, Victoria’s 30th birthday welcomed a pink seven-carat, oval-diamond shaped ring from David. A surprise present also sporting baguette side stones, Dutta emphasises the rarity and femininity of pink diamonds, stating how the ‘ring came during a more romantic, family-focused phase of their lives and showed a softer side to her taste.’
Estimation – £2.5 million
2005: The Pear-Shaped Diamond
One year on, Victoria debuted a huge, approximately 17-carat, pear-shaped diamond ring. ‘This was a statement ring that matched her growing global profile,’ Dutta states, ‘with her wearing it to many high-profile events such as Milan Fashion Week, Swarovski Fashion Rocks for the Prince’s Trust, and Elton John’s civil partnership.’
Estimation – £4 million
2006: The Yellow Emerald-Cut Diamond
Another annual addition to the collection, this time, a yellow emerald-cut diamond. When Victoria arrived in Germany to support David in the 2006 World Cup, it was difficult for fans to miss her new sparkling statement piece. A yellow emerald-cut diamond on a yellow gold band, ‘the vivid colour stood out against her glamorous looks and symbolised her growing confidence in the fashion world’, states Dutta.
Estimation – £1.8 million

2007: The Emerald-Cut with Halo
Switching from diamonds to colour, this was by far Victoria’s boldest upgrade to her ring collection yet. A bright green cushion-cut emerald set in yellow gold, Dutta comments that ‘this was the start of Victoria’s gemstone era’.
Estimation – £3 million

2008: The Traditional Cushion-Cut Diamond
2008 saw the quick switch back to traditional diamonds for Victoria, but with a more modern twist. Made by high-profile jewellers Chopard, the emerald-cut diamond on a pavé band weighed approximately 15 carats.
Estimation – £3.5 million

2009: The Ruby Oval
Continuing with her reign of colour, the fashion designer added her most expensive ring to the collection in 2009, with an estimated 15-carat ‘pigeon blood’ ruby red oval ring, set on a diamond-encrusted band. ‘This ring appeared around the Beckhams’ move to the United States,’ states Dutta, explaining that it was likely symbolic of a new chapter in Los Angeles.
Estimation – £5 million

2009: The Sapphire Oval
Another coloured stone, but this time, a striking sapphire set on a contrasting, delicate white pavé band. Reflecting a more established stage in her style, the size of the stone paired with its deep colour (and estimated 20 carats!) ranks this ring as one of Victoria’s most expensive, setting David back nearly £5 million,
Estimation – £4.8 million
2010: The Pink Oval Cut
It seems Victoria can’t get enough of the pink gemstones as another pink rock was added to the collection while she was expecting her fourth child, Harper. This stone was a lighter oval cut surrounded by diamonds. ‘The pale pink tone had a tender quality that reflected this stage in her life,’ adds Dutta, likely referring to Victoria becoming a mum to a baby girl for the first time.
Estimation – £1.5 million
The Five-Year Pause
After 2010, additions to Victoria’s collection slowed down, and for good reason. As touched on in the Netflix documentary series, Victoria’s fashion label (also named Victoria Beckham), was reportedly £38 million in debt. With focus primarily on rebuilding the brand, David invested heavily into the label, a likely explanation as to why we did not see a new ring until 2015.
2015: The Round Cut White Diamond
Despite this ring feeling like ‘a nod to tradition’ for Dutta, this was surprisingly Victoria’s first round cut diamond. With a halo setting and round side stones, this ring has a ‘softer, vintage feel’, making it ‘stand out among her collection’.
Estimation – £1.5 million

2015: The Moonstone
One of her more eye-catching rings is the moonstone cabochon surrounded by diamonds. Described by Dutta as a more ‘understated’ piece in Victoria’s collection, it showed the Spice Girl ‘didn’t always need a huge diamond to make a statement’. From Jacob & Co, this ring is, dare we say, one of the more economical pieces in her collection, coming in at a mere £35,000.
Estimation – £35,000
2016: Cushion-Cut White Diamond
After a short-lived moment with the moonstone ring, Victoria debuted her new diamond on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in 2016. A more striking cushion-cut diamond of approximately 15 carats, it represented a ‘clean, modern’ look that ‘perfectly aligned with her fashion identity’ at the time.
Estimation – £1.2 million

2018: The Square-Cut Yellow Diamond
After a brief interlude, Victoria was spotted with another yellow diamond after making appearances at both New York City and Paris Fashion Week. A piece that ‘echoed her earlier World Cup-era ring’, according to Dutta, this time the ring featured a square-cut yellow stone, set on a pavé diamond band, ultimately bringing a ‘sleeker, more contemporary feel’ to her collection.
Estimation – £2 million
