Chelsea Flower Show

Chelsea Flower Show: The Ultimate Guide

This annual West London garden show has roots stretching as far back as 1862, when the first Royal Horticultural Society Great Spring Show was held in Kensington. In 1912, Show moved out of the RHS garden in Kensington and moved to The Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the Chelsea Pensioners, earning its new (and now world-famous name): the Chelsea Flower Show.

It has since flourished into one of the largest and best-respected horticultural shows in the world – so there’s a lot to get your head around. We’ve gathered everything you need to know about the Show, from how to get tickets, to what to wear when you visit, to how to recreate the magic in your own garden.
