A family-owned estate spanning thousands of acres, Gisburne Park is a glamping village, luxury holiday park and wedding venue all wrapped into one. STAY

With thousands of acres to play with, there are numerous ways to enjoy a stay at Gisburne Park. The six-acre glamping village comprises of 20 five-metre bell tents, each fully furnished and featuring its own decked area and fire pit outside. A truly magical way of experiencing life on the estate, the village is set against the backdrop of the park’s 18th century country house and is surrounded by an array of twinkling lights which bring the camping site to life at night.

Also located within the estate is Ribblesdale Park, a series of cosy holiday lodges, each boasting its very own outdoor hot tub. Whether staying as a couple or group of six, every self-catering lodge offers something different, from four-poster beds to whirlpool baths and private gardens. Surrounding the holiday park is acres of rural countryside; keep your eyes peeled for the many Sika deer and peacocks that roam freely, and revel in the laid-back ambience.

For a long walk, join the Ribble Way (which spans the Lancashire coast and Yorkshire Dales National Park) and stroll along the River Ribble, taking in breath-taking countryside views. If the sun is shining, spend the day relaxing by the park’s heated outdoor pool, situated within the mansion house walled gardens.

Or, head further afield to the picturesque village of Malham. Approximately half an hour’s drive from Gisburne, the historic destination boasts a number of charming pubs and cafés, as well as incredible views of Malham Cove, Gordale Scar, and the awe-inspiring Malham Tarn.

After working up an appetite wandering the Ribble Valley countryside, pitch up at the park’s on-site restaurant Hindelinis for hearty food and an array of tempting cocktails; think beer battered fish and chips, steak and ale suet pudding, and a Ribble Valley steak burger served with Lancashire cheese. Dogs are also welcome inside the restaurant, whilst the fire pit outside provides the perfect spot to relax with a glass of fizz.
