The Prime Video show is returning this spring

Clarkson’s Farm fan? We’ve got some good news for you: season 5 is just around the corner. Here’s everything we know so far.

Clarkson’s Farm Season 5: Everything We Know So Far

This spring, Jeremy Clarkson is returning to our screens for a fifth instalment of his hit Prime show. Season five will return to Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds, with a whole host of new challenges for Clarkson, Kaleb Cooper, Lisa Hogan and the team to navigate. The official synopsis reads, ‘”Clarkson’s Farm” is back, and amidst a government budget that sends the U.K. farming community into uproar, Jeremy decides some big changes are needed to make the farm run more smoothly. But while the farm tries to go high-tech – resulting in Kaleb’s first ever trip abroad – even bigger developments are heading for Diddly Squat that are going to prove much more of a challenge.’

A new trailer gives us a first glimpse at the series. Chaos ensues as sheep are introduced to the farm (‘no sheep is easy to care for,’ Cooper tells Clarkson), but a bigger problem is just around the corner: the entire farm is put under lockdown due to an outbreak of bovine tuberculosis at Diddly Squat. A government inspector tells Clarkson, ‘I’m putting the whole farm under restrictions. The ministry will get in touch with you, and talk through what you can and can’t do.’

This series will also follow Clarkson’s personal health struggles, with the trailer showing a clip of a nurse attaching probes to his chest in hospital. ‘You’ve got three arteries that feed your heart to keep it pumping,’ Clarkson tells Cooper. ‘My heart wasn’t getting any blood.’ There’s no sign of Clarkson slowing down though: we also see him speaking at a farmers’ protest in London despite being told not to by doctors, and helping a calf give birth back at the farm.

Cooper, meanwhile, is hard at work on the fields when his partner Taya goes into labour with their third child.

There may also be a royal cameo. Last March, Prince William took a trip to the Cotswolds to meet Clarkson and his co-stars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland – part of a wider campaign to raise awareness for mental health care for young farmers. William revealed his son, Prince George, is a fan of the show, saying to Cooper: ‘You’ve got George watching now. I said to him, “What shall I say if I meet Kaleb?”. He said, “Tell Kaleb to mind his language”‘. Although there was speculation this meeting would feature in season 4, it was too late to make the cut, but perhaps we’ll see it in season 5.

Will newbie farmhand Harriet Cowan return to Diddly Squat? ‘We’ve always left it very open,’ she said when asked during an interview on BBC Breakfast. ‘I’m here if he needs me, but no plans at the minute.’

When Will Clarkson’s Farm Season 5 Come Out?

Prime Video has confirmed the show will return on 3 June 2026 with four episodes. Two more episodes will follow on 10 June 2026, with the final two airing on 17 June 2026.

Will Season 5 Be The Last?

Since the first series aired back in 2021, Clarkson’s show has soared to colossal success, and it’s looking like season 4 could be on track to become the most watched so far. It’s one of Prime Video’s most popular shows, but could season 5 be the end?

Not necessarily, but Clarkson has confirmed the show will be taking a hiatus. He told The Sunday Times:Whatever happens we’ll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out. We’ve been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest.’ However, he didn’t rule out the possibility of a sixth season. ‘I’d do a sixth if there was a reason for doing it, like a bloody good story,’ he said. Production hasn’t been possible recently, though, due to a combination of bad weather and the bovine tuberculosis outbreak. ‘It hasn’t stopped raining since the beginning of the year, so I can’t plant anything, and I can’t do anything with my cows either because we are still locked down by TB.’

The first four seasons of Clarkson’s Farm are available to watch now on Prime Video
