This month comes with a mild warning (and a push to get things in order). ‘September is the last full month before Mercury and Venus both turn retrograde,’ says Aiten. ‘That period starts in October and runs through the autumn, and it’s a stretch when plans often need revisiting, so this is a useful window for shopping, making arrangements, launching new projects, and finally moving on long-planned ideas. If something needs a clear decision or a real investment, September is a kind month for it.’

Venus In Scorpio: 10 September – 7 January

‘Venus enters Scorpio on 10 September and stays there into early January, since it later turns retrograde in that sign,’ says Aiten. ‘Feelings tend to run deeper under this transit, along with the wish for a real connection with someone. In relationships, casual arrangements may hold less appeal, and commitment, closeness, and honesty may matter more. Jealousy, control, or mistrust can surface too, so it helps to name what you actually feel before acting on it. Sun In Libra: 23 September – 23 October

‘The Sun moves into Libra on 23 September for a month, bringing communication, relationships, and other people to the foreground,’ says Aiten. ‘Negotiations, compromises, meetings, and new introductions often go more smoothly now, especially when both sides are willing to hear each other out. You may also feel more drawn to time with people, events, and your own style and self-presentation.’

Mars In Leo: 28 September – 26 November

‘Mars enters Leo on 28 September and stays there through the end of autumn,’ says Aiten. ‘It strengthens the pull to express yourself, act on your own terms, and be recognised for what you have done. Motivation tends to rise when you can lead something, make something, or see that your effort gets noticed. In disagreements, though, it helps to watch your reactions, so that standing your ground doesn’t turn into a contest for attention.’
