The $18m property is being listed by current celeb owner Meghan Trainor
On 5 September 2023 celebrity couple Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner got divorced. He was best-known for his Jonas Brothers band and Disney Channel features. She for playing Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones. Together they were the girl-taller-than-the-guy poster couple, and seemed – at least through the paparazzi camera and social media lens – to enjoy the perfect relationship. They share two children, Willa and Delphine, which they now have joint custody of.
Even if the relationship wasn’t as perfect as it seemed, their house certainly was. In 2019 they bought 3904 Valley Meadow Rd, in the Encino neighbourthood of Los Angeles, California for $14.1m. Then newly built, the estate had been dreamt-up by California designer and developer Jae Omar.
Adding further upgrades to the already impressive property, the Hollywood power couple revamped the spa and gym and upgraded the home’s security system. Jonas also built a pub to resemble a classic Chicago bar on the site, despite the fact that he’s from New Jersey.
They sunk a lot of time, money and effort into the property, but they didn’t hold onto it for long, eventually selling it to DJ and record producer Zedd (full name Anton Zaslavski) for $15.2 million in 2021, giving them just a little over $1m in profit.
Under Zedd’s ownership, the property got a further makeover, as he added in a professional recording studio, vocal booth and home theatre. ‘Two of my favorite features of the home are the professional music studio and home theater, both of which I installed,’ he told Mansion Global when he listed the home back in 2024.
‘All About That Bass’ singer Meghan Trainor bought the home from him for a reported $17.125m in May 2024, living there with her husband (Daryl Sabara, best known for playing Juni Cortez in the Spy Kids movies) and their three children Riley, Barry, and Mikey.
Trainor is now listing the property just a a couple of years later, and only a few months after she sold a different Encino property in April 2026 for a reported $6.835m. She had purchased this seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom home for $6.55m in 2020. The estate featured a pool, spa, tennis court, putting green, fire pit, lounge, and covered outdoor dining area, as well as a recording studio.
The house sale coincided with Meghan’s announcement that she’d be cancelling her ‘The Get In Girl Tour’, explaining that she wished to be present for her growing family, having recently given birth to her daughter.
