Earthrise Summit



Lily Cole and Jimmy Chin will be headlining virtual stages at Earthrise Summit, a digital sustainability festival taking place this month. Over an eight-hour period, 60 speakers will discuss key issues such as the global food waste scandal, the race to net zero and rewilding. 19 May,

Join John and Catherine Pawson from their kitchen at Home Farm in a virtual event with C&TH interiors editor Carole Annett. They’ll be discussing their new book, Home Farm Cooking, as part of London Design Week at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. 16 May, 4pm.

Pressing Matters by Helium London x MATCHESFASHION

From Coldplay to the Rolling Stones, some of the world’s rarest vinyls have been visualised into artworks for an exhibition and online auction. Artists taking part include David Shrigley, Gavin Turk and James Joyce, and you can see the exhibition in person at the MATCHESFASHION townhouse. The event will culminate in an online auction from 24 – 29 May, with all money raised going towards Music Support, a charity which offers help and support to those affected by mental health in the music industry. 4 – 29 May.

Borough Talks

Borough Market

The latest instalment of Borough Market’s digital series features the likes of Anna Jones and Carolyn Steel, with an event taking place every month until June. Next up in May, Polpo founder Russell Norman will be discussing food and travel alongside Yasmin Khan. In June, meanwhile, a panel of experts will be doing a deep dive into the meat vs veganism debate. 12 May and 16 June.

The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair is back for a new digital iteration this spring. This works as an online showcase for over 70 dealers specialising in traditional and decorative antiques, with a range of eye-catching art, unusual accessories and beautiful textiles available to buy. London Design Week

Longing to change your interiors after spending so long cooped up inside? Get inspired at London Design Week 2021, which involves a mix of in-person and virtual events. Sustainability is a key theme across the new season collections, with an increasing variety of natural designs on display. 16 – 21 May.
