Devoured season 4 of Clarkson’s Farm and wondering if there’s more to come? We’ve got some more good news for you: season 5 is on its way. Jeremy Clarkson posted on Instagram to announce filming for the new season is now complete, suggesting it may not be too far off arriving on our screens.

Yes, Prime Video officially confirmed a fifth series was on its way last year. Jeremy Clarkson shared the news on 5 November 2024 (Bonfire Night) via Instagram, with a video of fireworks lighting up Diddly Squat farm in the shape of a number five. He wrote: ‘Over the years bright lights in the sky have been used to make many important announcements. The birth of baby Jesus for example, but tonight they’re being used to make an announcement that’s even bigger than that.’ He added: ‘Season 5 of Clarkson’s Farm is coming,’ before pointing towards the gold 5.
The caption reads: ‘it’s the 5th november… this just felt right 👀 Clarkson’s Farm S5 is officially in production 🙌 #ClarksonsFarm #JeremyClarkson #LisaHogan #KalebCooper’.

We haven’t got much intel on the season 5 storylines just yet, but it’s thought the series will document the recent outbreak of bovine tuberculosis which struck Diddly Squat. This June, Clarkson posted on X to announce that his farm had ‘gone down with TB’, meaning it had to go into lockdown and refrain from buying or selling cows for two months.
There may also be a royal cameo. Back in March, Prince William took a trip to the Cotswolds to meet Clarkson and his co-stars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland – part of a wider campaign to raise awareness for mental health care for young farmers. William revealed his son, Prince George, is a fan of the show, saying to Cooper: ‘You’ve got George watching now. I said to him, “What shall I say if I meet Kaleb?”. He said, “Tell Kaleb to mind his language”‘. Although there was speculation this meeting would feature in season 4, it was too late to make the cut, but perhaps we’ll see it in season 5.
Will newbie farmhand Harriet Cowan return to Diddly Squat? ‘We’ve always left it very open,’ she said when asked during an interview on BBC Breakfast. ‘I’m here if he needs me, but no plans at the minute.’
When Will Clarkson’s Farm Season 5 Come Out?
Prime Video have not yet announced the release date for Clarkson’s Farm season 5. However, based on the release schedules of the past few years, it’s likely the next season will come out in spring 2026 (both seasons 3 and 4 premiered in May).
Will Season 5 Be The Last?
Since the first series aired back in 2021, Clarkson’s show has soared to colossal success, and it’s looking like season 4 could be on track to become the most watched so far. It’s one of Prime Video’s most popular shows, but could season 5 be the end?
Not necessarily, but Clarkson has confirmed the show will be taking a hiatus. He told The Sunday Times: ‘Whatever happens we’ll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out. We’ve been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest.’ However, he didn’t rule out the possibility of a sixth season. ‘I’d do a sixth if there was a reason for doing it, like a bloody good story,’ he said.
