Blue Marlin is coming to Shoreditch

All Ibiza regulars will know Blue Marlin, one of the island’s – and, indeed, the world’s – most famous beach clubs. And now, Londoners will have a chance to soak up its party vibes year-round, with a new branch set to launch within the Mondrian Shoreditch hotel in east London.

Ibiza’s Blue Marlin Is Coming To London’s Shoreditch

We might not have the Balearic weather, but there’s plenty of fun to be had at Blue Marlin Ibiza London, coming soon to the capital. The venue will manifest here as a private members’ club, where guests can work, exercise and dine during the day, then party come evening time.

Part of the five-star Mondrian Hotel, there will be a glitzy restaurant serving Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, a cocktail and sushi bar, a co-working space, a gym and a spa. Visitors will have access to the hotel’s rooftop pool, which boasts wide-reaching views of the capital. Channelling its Ibiza roots, the club will also be a destination for late-night parties, hosting regular DJ nights.

‘We are thrilled to welcome Blue Marlin to Shoreditch and to help bring an urban feel to the iconic lifestyle brand,’ said The Mondrian’s general manager, David Lockhart (formerly of The Ned). ‘We look forward to working with the Blue Marlin team to create this new hub of entertainment in East London.’

Blue Marlin Ibiza is a stalwart on the white island’s glamorous party scene. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Cala Jondal’s coastline, the club is always packed throughout the summer, playing host to some of the world’s biggest DJs, from Pete Tong to Skream and Dennis Ferrer. The London outpost will be the fourth opening from the Blue Marlin group, which also has sites in Gran Canaria, the UAE and Mexico.

The Mondrian Shoreditch, meanwhile, is a fairly new addition to London, having opened in 2021 under the helm of the Reuben Brothers after being rebranded from its original location in the Sea Containers building by the river.
