Festive Menus In London For 2026
Honey & Co., Fitzrovia
Known for its vibrant, sharing-style cooking, Honey & Co. (formerly known as Honey & Smoke) is ideal for big meals out with groups. Part of Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich’s popular Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant group, the Great Portland Street eatery features long tables seating up to 18 guests, with a fun, relaxed vibe. This year’s festive sharing menu includes an array of dishes cooked over live fire coals, kicking off with a selection of mezze for the table: think roasted butternut and tahini dip with crostini bites, and cheesy bouikos (small savoury biscuits) with labneh and zaatar. Next, guests can tuck into sharing platters of chicken skewers marinated in saffron yoghurt, slow-cooked beef short ribs, crispy potatoes with paprika aioli, and aubergine rolls stuffed with pomegranate and pistachio. Finish on a sweet note with Honey & Co.’s signature feta and honey cheesecake, or a Dubai-style chocolate mousse.

This December, though, it’s all about classic festive flavours: the five-course Christmas menu begins with starters like roasted pumpkin and sweet potato soup, or Highland cure oak smoked salmon with caper berries. For the main event, choose between 28-day dry aged porterhouse, chateaubriand or sharing pies – all are served with a generous helping of roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, honey glazed carrots and Brussels sprouts. Dessert is a classic Christmas or sticky toffee pudding.

Whet your appetite with dim sum of wagyu ox cheek curry puffs, and prawn siu mai, ahead of a choice of two larger sharing plates: duck crown with plum sauce, steamed market fish, or mushroom claypot rice, paired with sides of sesame garlic cabbage, lo mein noodles and jasmine rice. The four-course festive menu begins with a selection of antipasti for the table, ahead of dishes like risotto bianco, tagliatelle with ragu, grilled John Dory stuffed with wild fennel, and pumpkin stuffed with rice and chestnuts. The Clink, Brixton
A prison might not be the obvious choice for a Christmas dinner with friends – but hear us out. The Clink is one of London’s most interesting restaurants, housed within HMP Brixton, with all food cooked and served by people in prison, who are gaining skills during their sentences to give them a better chance of building a new future after release. The festive menu begins with starters including chicken croquet with charred sprout salad, and beetroot gravlax of salmon, followed by a choice of roast turkey with all the trimmings, roasted nut terrine, pan fried pollock or wild mushroom stuffed hispi cabbage. Pudding options, meanwhile, include pear and stem ginger pudding with butterscotch, or bitter chocolate mousse with caramelised orange and toasted pistachio. There’s no alcohol served here, but the non-alcoholic cocktails sound good: the Pink Paloma is a mix of pink grapefruit, lime and Seedlip, while the Clementine Mojito is a seasonal twist on the classic.
How much? Starters from £8.50, mains from £18.50

Can’t imagine a trip to Dishoom without tucking into some black daal? Fear not: it features too, alongside a number of other house classics, finishing off with a tipsy orange cream cake. For mains, there’s a turkey wrapped in maple-cured bacon with pigs and blankets, stuffing and all the rest – but if you’re not feeling turkey, the menu also includes grilled bavette steak, miso mushroom and chestnut wellington, and herb-crusted salmon fillet (which all come with rosemary and garlic potatoes, parsnips and sprouts). The festive menu here looks particularly delicious, served family-style in the wine annex, available to book exclusively for groups of seven to 30. It begins with Wildfarmed rolls with dips of babaganoush and smoked tarama, followed by dishes like yellowfin tuna and a traditional spanakopita. For the main event, guests can choose either slow-braised Cornish lamb, shorthorn beef, or wild mushroom giovetsi. Enjoy alongside Greek wines, and be sure to try one of the signature cocktails: the clementine gimlet, or the OMA negroni.
