The chef's Lake District farm is popping up in London this September

Simon Rogan was way ahead of the curve on farm-to-fork dining. After rising to fame with his produce-led restaurant L’Enclume in Cartmel, Cumbria, he went one step further by opening his own regenerative farm, Our Farm, which supplies fresh ingredients to his eateries. And now, the chef is bringing urban dwellers a taste by launching a pop-up at his London restaurant, Aulis.

Our Farm Is Popping Up In London

Our Farm will be coming to Soho for one day only on 15 September 2025, taking the form of a farm shop and deli. Guests will be able to shop produce from the farm, including seasonal leaves, fruit and vegetables, as well as store cupboard products like lemon thyme oil and perilla vinegar. A selection of merchandise will also be on offer, including T-shirts, plantable pens, tote bags and cookbooks.

On top of this, Our Farm’s Head Chef Liam Fitzpatrick and Rogan’s Group Executive Chef Paul Burgalières will be joining forces to cook a selection of dishes, available for takeaway lunches. The menu will include a Herdwick lamb ‘hot dog’ with courgette relish and Our Farm ketchup; a celeriac shawarma flatbread with broad bean hummus; and lemon verbena doughnut with ice cream.

Come evening time, Rogan will be hosting a talk on the future of regenerative farming in collaboration with The Good Food Guide, joined by his team. This will take place at nearby cafe Sacred Grounds.

The day will aim to offer a snapshot into the purpose and ethos of Our Farm, which Rogan built in 2011. ‘I knew I could grow far superior ingredients that would yield amazing flavour for the kind of innovative dishes I wanted to create,’ he says. ‘Now, our ongoing aim is to strengthen the link between our food, its development and the environment. By growing everything ourselves, we can better understand and place more control over the ingredients we use, while being led by the rigid seasons of the Cartmel Valley, where their rhythm is at its most apparent.’

20/20/20 Charity Dinner

The event falls amid a big few days for Rogan and the team. On 14 September, Group Executive Chef Oli Marlow is hosting a charity event known as 20/20/20, which sees 20 chefs cooking 20 courses for a £20 charity raffle ticket. Taking place at Aulis London, the dinner will feature numerous prestigious figures from the culinary world including Trinity’s Adam Byatt, nutritionist Emily English, AngloThai’s John Chantarasak, Plates’ Kirk Haworth, baker Ruby Bhogal, and Great British Menu presenter Andi Oliver, among others.

Who Is Simon Rogan?

Rogan first sprung onto the UK’s foodie scene over 20 years ago, opening L’Enclume in the Lake District in 2002. This went on to become one of the country’s most prestigious restaurants – and is now one of just 10 British venues to hold three Michelin stars. Rogan followed this up with a more relaxed eatery down the road, Rogan & Co, as well as opening multiple restaurants in London, including Aulis and Roganic (now closed). They all champion Rogan’s hyper-seasonal, local ethos, spotlighting produce grown at Our Farm.

Tucked away off Dean Street, the Michelin-starred Aulis is an intimate chef’s table-style dining experience, with space for just 12 guests. It serves a tasting menu helmed by executive chef Oli Marlow and head chef Charlie Tayler, with dishes dictated by the seasons. Right now, it includes the likes of gooseberry tartlet with Chalk stream trout, Herdwick lamb neck with carrot doughnut, Orkney scallops with pineapple weed jelly, and Newlyn Market John Dory with smoked roe. Dessert, meanwhile, is made with cherries, woodruff-infused cream, molasses cake and candied buckwheat.
