In London, pizza lovers are queuing up for viral spots like Crisp – but just outside of the city, there’s another joint gaining cult status. Vincenzo’s in Bushey Village, Hertfordshire, has taken off on TikTok lately, attracting fans from all over the country including a string of A-listers: Stormzy, Chase and Status and Bicep have all enjoyed pizzas from there recently. So what’s behind the hype?
Vincenzo’s, Bushey: The Backstory
Located in the heart of Bushey, a village not far from Watford, Vincenzo’s is a pizza restaurant founded in 2020 by ex-teacher Tom Vincent. Tom travelled the globe to discover the secrets of the world’s best pizzas, exploring everywhere from Brooklyn to Naples. He then returned to the UK and launched Vincenzo’s, initially serving pizzas via a hatch residency during lockdown, and going on to build his own restaurant from scratch in a former old sandwich shop.Â

What’s On The Menu?
The Vincenzo’s pizza style is a mix between New York and Neapolitan, with a thin crust, crispy base and a blend of fresh and dry mozzarella. Pizzas are available in either 12 or 18 inches, with a variety of flavours available including:
- Vincenzo’s Margherita – fresh mozzarella, basil
- Pepperoni Pesto – Grana Panado, pepperoni, pesto
- Spicy Norma – roasted aubergine, roquito peppers
- Sausage and Onions – pork and fennel sausage with onion and confit garlic oilÂ
- Fun Gi – roasted mushrooms with garlic and fresh chives

How To Get It
The pizzas here are pre-order only – and usually they sell out in an hour or so, so plan ahead and get in there early. You’ll need to order online here and then go and pick it up for takeaway, or there are a few tables available to sit in.
Vincenzo’s is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays; the opening times for the other days are:
- Wednesday, 9am – 9.30pm
- Thursday, 9am – 9.30pm
- Friday, 9am – 11am, 2 – 9.05pm
- Saturday, 9am – 11am, 2pm – 9.30pm
- Sunday, 9am – 1pm, 1.55 – 9.30pm
