What Is It?
The latest initiative from the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, the Design Emporium Collective on Fifth is a brand new space where shoppers can discover brands and treasures they would not find elsewhere. Inviting businesses into a vibrant ecosystem of design and creativity, the curated space will act as the perfect blend of shopping destination and showroom – and the next big hotspot for design-seekers.
‘The Design Emporium Collective is a celebration of discovery,’ says Claire German, CEO, Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. ‘Opening on the Fifth Floor of our newly redeveloped Design Centre East, it will be a destination quite unlike anywhere else – a beautifully curated treasure trove where craftsmanship, creativity and originality come together in the most inspiring way.’
The new initiative will unite 19 design brands from across the world, with each one showcased in its own curated space within the emporium – forming one grand destination that will no doubt inspire a new home project (and tempt with its shiny array of wares and trinkets).
‘From exquisite furniture and lighting to tactile textiles, artisan pieces and our Source at Personal Shopping service with its extraordinary array of china and glass, every corner has been designed to spark imagination,’ adds Claire. ‘It is a place where designers and design enthusiasts alike can uncover pieces they simply won’t find elsewhere – a collective that truly harnesses the power of collaboration while retaining the individuality and passion of each maker.
‘We cannot wait to welcome visitors to explore, to linger and to be inspired.’
