Oliver Brown Opens City Outpost
Those City boys just got better dressed. Leading gentlemen’s outfitter Oliver Brown has set up shop in a prime location between the Royal Exchange and Leadenhall Market.The brand’s third retail store offers its full SS24 ready-to wear collections along with morningwear and top hats – ideal for City workers planning on attending next month’s Royal Ascot.
‘Opening our Oliver Brown store in the heart of the City of London has long been a goal of mine, and is a real milestone for the brand,’ explains Kristian Ferner Robson, founder. ‘When I first viewed 66-67 Cornhill, near Leadenhall Market and The Royal Exchange, it felt like fate. The historic Grade II-listed building, once a bustling coffee house, offered more than just a storefront – it provided a home for our growing company, bringing together our store, office, and warehouse in one space. Reflecting our ethos of timeless elegance, the interior design features dark woods and our signature green accents, creating an inviting atmosphere. Cheaney To Launch New Bond Street Boutique
There’ll be a fresh destination for British shoemaking fans to explore this summer: a brand-new Cheaney boutique on New Bond Street in London’s Mayfair, set to open this August. The store will proudly display the brand’s signature footwear styles, many of which showcase the classic Goodyear welted technique.
‘Our goal is to bring the theatre of the factory into store, allowing customers to discover our handcrafted footwear in a contemporary space that complements the rich heritage of the business,’ says William Church, Joint MD of Joseph Cheaney.

Jennifer Chamandi Opens Bespoke Pop-Up At Harrods
Luxury footwear label Jennifer Chamandi has opened a new pop-up at iconic London department store Harrods, where the team will be showcasing the brand’s bespoke service. Highlighting Jennifer Chamandi signature styles, the service allows shoppers to take part in the art of creation. Offering an endless menu of colour ways and textures, the brand invites shoppers to find their perfect bespoke match. The design for each pair of shoes is then sent to a family-run master artisan atelier in Italy, where it is handcrafter. It takes six to eight weeks for a bespoke pair to be completed and sent back to each shopper.

David Morris Launches Spectacular Riviera Collection
David Morris’s Riviera collection evokes the timeless chic of the cosmopolitan resorts on the French and Italian rivieras, with the designs inspired by a rivière necklace (a style featuring one or more strings of linked gemstones).
The collection features a necklace, bangle, creole earrings and hoop earrings, crafted in two colour ways; all-diamond, and diamond and pink sapphire, the house’s signature colour.

Bora Aksu Wins 2024 Goodwood Talent in Fashion Award
Fashion designer Bora Aksu, known for his dreamy, intricate, demi-couture designs has won the Goodwood Talent in Fashion Award for 2024. This accolade, created by the Duke of Richmond, is now in its fourth year, and was created to recognise rising home-grown talent. The designer will now create three show-stopping couture gowns inspired by Goodwood’s heritage, which will be revealed during the opening ceremony of the Qatar Goodwood Festival on Tuesday 30 July 2024.
‘Bora is a designer who has embraced that quintessentially English look of romance with a twist – a philosophy that fits perfectly with Goodwood’s fashion legacy,’ says the Duke of Richmond.
‘We have always been known for an “England in the Summer” way of dressing, ever since King Edward VII and Lillie Langtry came racing during the 19th century, and today encourage this relaxed yet glamorous style. Lock & Co Hatters Join Forces with Brown’s Hotel on Afternoon Tea
This May, the iconic hat maker Lock & Co is teaming up with another British institution, Brown’s Hotel, to make over its afternoon tea. Served in its cosy, wood-panelled Drawing Room (where Queen Victoria herself is supposed to have taken tea), on the menu will be traditional sandwiches and warm scones with cream and jam, topped off with a selection of cakes and pastries inspired by the hatter’s SS24 collection, including an a playful homage to its Rose Bud Percher Hat. Lock & Co headpieces will also be displayed around the room – perfect for a bit of light shopping over tea ahead of the social season kicking off.
