Can't make it to the shows? Thankfully, there's more to London Fashion Week than the runway
With London Fashion Week now officially back in the UK capital, you might be wondering: can I go? While most of the shows are under a strict invite-only policy, they’re not the only activation taking place over the week. There are plenty of public events taking place, with pop-ups, shopping hubs, panel discussions and more celebrating the vibrancy of London Fashion Week.
A Guide To London Fashion Week
When Is London Fashion Week?
London Fashion Week comes to the capital twice a year: in February and September. The upcoming celebrations will spotlight SS26 creations, and take place from 18 to 22 September 2025.
What Is The City Wide Celebration?
Overseen by the British Fashion Council (BFC), the City Wide Celebration is a curated programme of unique experiences and activations open to the public throughout September. These events, which span pop-ups, panel discussions, workshops and live music, run alongside London Fashion Week and help promote retail across the UK.

Is It Just London?
In previous years, celebrations have expanded outside London to include other British cities like Manchester and Newcastle – and this season is no different. This September, the City Wide Celebration programme launches ‘At Home With’ presented by 1664 Blanc, a series of talks and panel discussions spotlighting the cultural and geographic roots of some of Britain’s most celebrated designers. The BFC has announced that valued patrons will partner on the activations in each region, with venues spanning the Trafford Centre, Eldon Square, Fenwick Newcastle and Liverpool One.
