The Sussex event is all about meaningful connection and celebrating nature

Everyone might be talking about Glastonbury right now, but in another part of the British countryside a new kind of festival is preparing for its biggest event yet. Say hello to Good Vibrations Society: a weekender centred around music, wellness and environmental action set to take place from 1 – 3 August 2025 in Sussex’s Pippingford Park.
What To Expect At Good Vibrations Society
This soulful, family-friendly festival swaps booze-fuelled late nights for wellbeing activities and thought-provoking talks, set amid an idyllic natural landscape. It’s all about garnering connection and community: guests can head to ‘The Root’ wellness zone for forest bathing, yoga, cacao ceremonies and sound healing, relax in wood-fired hot tubs in the spa, wild swim in the lake and listen to inspiring discussions on ecological issues.
Nurturing the planet is a key theme. The 2024 event included talks from the likes of Sussex Wildlife Trust, Ashdown Forest Foundation and the Woodland Trust, and this year guests can expect discussions on topics including rewilding and conservation, with plenty of tips for living a greener lifestyle.
Across the festival, there is a firm no single-use plastic policy, renewable energy is used throughout, and compost loos are dotted across the site. All food and drink, meanwhile, will come from local suppliers: think vegan Indian street food and grass-fed beef burgers from nearby farms.
Music will still play a key part, with this year’s line-up including performances from Norman Jay MBE, So Solid Crew, Facesoul, Gentlemen’s Dub Club and Soul II Soul. The BLOOM mainstage has a 2,500 capacity, while The Warren will offer a more intimate experience with space for 750 festival goers and a focus on electronic music.
There will be plenty for children to do at The Hive, from the chance to build creatures using recycled wood to circus skills, face painting and ping pong.

Day tickets are available – but those keen to make a weekend of it can opt for glamping, with an array of bell tents on-site (plus access to showers and pamper stations).
Good Vibrations was founded in 2021, born out of a need to create new social spaces in the countryside for bonding post-pandemic. Since then, the event has become a popular fixture in the local area – but in 2025, it hopes to attract visitors from further afield.
Pippingford Park is carefully managed with a deep respect for nature, with old trees left to mature and wildlife habitats reserved. The space is home to many rare birds, including ravens, which are now back and thriving after not being seen there for over 100 years, as well as being one of the most diverse sites for dragonflies in the country. Large grazing animals were also recently reintroduced, including Wild Exmoor ponies and Belted Galloway cows.
