What Is Microblading?
Microblading is a cosmetic procedure focusing on the eyebrows, that involves using a manual handheld tool (usually a small blade with multiple tiny needles that deposits the pigment into the upper layers of the skin) to create semi-permanent tattoos. A form of eyebrow tattooing, microblading aims to enhance or reshape the eyebrows by creating hair-like strokes with pigments.
Your technician will create individual hair-like strokes that mimic the natural appearance of eyebrows, while taking into account your face shape, existing eyebrow hair and the desired result. The pigments are chosen to best match your natural eyebrow colour or desired shade.
Microblading can be used to achieve a more defined and fuller eyebrow appearance, and the results can last for about one to three years – although touch-up sessions may be needed for general maintenance.
