Summer 2025’s Most Fashionable Beach Club Collaborations

Luxury beach resorts are offering a slice of the high life seen through a high fashion lens

Since the halcyon days of the Seventies package holiday when a fortnight on The Sol dining on hoevos rotos and tepid sangria was considered the height of style, international travel has burgeoned beyond recognition – and tastes have evolved with it. Which might well explain the influx of partnerships in recent years between luxury resorts and fashion powerhouses, to offer experiences worthy of today’s worldly globetrotters with a taste for the finer things. ‘There’s no doubt today’s traveller is looking for moments: experiences they can feel and share and resorts have become cultural stages in their own right’, says Harry Brantly, co-founder of Frescobol Carioca, a London-based resortwear brand with multiple beach club collaborations this summer.

René Blino, managing director of Monte Carlo Beach Club, also agrees the concept of style seen through the lens of travel is central to standing out in a highly saturated market. ‘Luxury hospitality is no longer just about offering premium services – it’s about crafting an entire universe. Today’s guests are seeking immersive experiences that are aesthetically driven and emotionally resonant,’ explains Blino. ‘Fashion brands bring a sense of narrative and visual storytelling that can amplify the identity of a resort. These collaborations create distinctive, Instagrammable moments and give destinations a cultural edge; they bridge the gap between lifestyle and place,’ adds Blino, who oversaw this summer’s takeover by Provençal label Jacquemus, which has become a firm favourite among resort goers for its playful Cote D’Azur elegance – qualities which resonated with the Beach Club’s own identity. ‘We were looking for more than a fashion label; we were looking for a storyteller. Simon Porte Jacquemus stood out immediately for his ability to translate an emotional, highly personal connection to the South of France into a visual and experiential world.’

These resorts also offer the added benefit of unperturbed retail therapy, when you’re in a frame of mind to make better decisions (unless you’ve quaffed too many mojitos at the pool bar). ‘It’s a shift from the city where shopping often means carving out time, crossing town, navigating crowds. In a resort setting, you’re relaxed, present and in the mood,’ says Brantley of Frescobol Carioica. It’s what we call The Art of Summering: being unhurried but spontaneous, refined but relaxed. You might come in barefoot from the beach, try on a linen shirt that feels perfect for the day and walk out feeling just that bit more in tune with the moment,’ he adds.

Feeling the urge to pack a case and head to more fashionable shores? Here are the most fashion-fluent beach clubs to live like you’re in a Slim Aarons shoot.

Beach Club Fashion Pop-Ups For Summer 2025

Monte Carlo Beach Club x Jacquemus

Jacquemus Beach Club at Monte Carlo

Yoann & Marco

The Monaco Beach Club, established in 1929, has a roll call of guests that reads like the Hollywood walk of fame and has one of the most hyped fashion collabs this summer. Under the guidance of Simon Porte Jacquemus, the parasols and soft furnishings of the swimming, sunbathing pier and café-bar have been dressed in signature Jacquemus black, yellow and white. The rooms, set in a low-rise crescent shaped building facing the sea, have the feel of 1930s ocean liner, with soft curved lines and a marine-inspired palette, while loggias with sea views offer direct access to the beach.

Guests have the facilities of the beach club at their disposal, including the spa, padel courts and palm and cabana-fringed saltwater pool with décor designed by Dorothée Delaye, who helped revamp Gabriele Chanel’s apartment in Paris. The culinary offerings will quiet even William Sitwell’s acid critique. There’s breakfast and dinner at Elsa – named after Elsa Maxwell, the larger-than-life society gossip columnist who put the Beach Club on the map in the Thirties. The oceanfront Michelin Star restaurant is headed by Martinique chef, Marcel Ravin and has a ‘marine garden’ menu where locally caught and grown ingredients play the starring role. Another epicurean highlight is Jondal – the Monégasque outpost of the famed Ibizan seasonal seafood joint, which is perched on its own rocky promontory lapped by the azure waters. Should all that fine Provencal food get too much, there’s Mykonos-inspired Maona with its vibrant Greek kitchen or consider heading over on the water taxi to neighbouring sister resort, the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel for dinner at Blue Bay by Marcel Ravin, which serves up an international take on Ravin’s native Martinique cuisine.

Frescobol Carioca x Twiggy, Dubai

Frescobal Carioca x Twiggy beach club in Dubai

You’d be forgiven for thinking that these collabs are all for the gals. Rio-inspired menswear brand Frescobol Carioca, which has been stocked at resorts worldwide since its inception, has for 2025 launched two of its own permanent spaces and in two very different locales – One&Only Portonovi, Montenegro and Twiggy Dubai. Each resort showcases the colourful, laid-back spirit of the Brazilian coastal life the brand exudes, with linen separates, swimwear with jazzy geometric prints and the brand’s signature wooden beach bat sets available at the on-site stores. In addition, the label has just launched an exclusive beach-ready capsule collection with the iconic Le Club 55 in St. Tropez. Time to upgrade those tatty old swimmers, chaps.

The Standard Ibiza x Burberry

The Burberry beach club at The Standard in Ibiza

While not strictly a beach resort, the Standard Ibiza on the harbor of Ibiza town is within spitting distance of Playa de Telemanca – and it’s a destination for those who like their summer breaks with a side of revelry. This season, the establishment has teamed up with British stalwart Burberry for a takeover of its poolside area, which has been decked out in Burberry’s famed plaid. There are also other brand touches throughout the hotel, including a Burberry photo booth and curated cocktail hour, alongside an edited capsule of the brand’s latest collection suited to the Ibizan backdrop. And if you opt to book the Castle or Plaza Suite, The Standard will put the ‘Check Mate’ Burberry yacht at your disposal for a day on a complimentary basis. This is the place to get dressed up and let your hair down.

Missoni x DRIFT Beach, Dubai

Missoni x DRIFT beach club in Dubai

Since its establishment in 1953, Missoni’s trademark zigzag kaftans and wafty leisurewear has become a mainstay with the pool-and-beach smart set. And with an entire line of homeware, too, its collaboration with Dubai’s DRIFT Beach is a suitably apt venture. The Missoni Club at DRIFT – part of the One&Only Royal Mirage at Dubai Marina – has seen the Italian label lend its bold, colour-pop vision to the daybeds, parasols and cabanas around the be-seen pool area, in a palette of deep blue, turquoise and emerald-green, reflecting the warm waters that lap on the sand just feet away. From there, you can literally drift to the Sea Lounge for a sundowner and sweeping view of the aquatint waters.

Dolce & Gabbana x TWIGA, Tuscany

D&G beach club in Tuscany

The Sicilian big guns have been on the beach club bandwagon for numerous seasons now – and for 2025, they’ve pushed the boat out with collaborations at clubs and resorts in seven different locales, including re-openings of popular collabs in Marbella, Taormina and Portofino. This season’s newest additions are Clap House in Ibiza and the most aesthetically pleasing for trigger-happy Instagrammers, TWIGA in Forte de Marmi, Tuscany – a go-to for the Italian jet set since 2001. The takeover includes beach furnishings in Dolce & Gabbana’s lush green and white ‘Banano’ print and a pop-up boutique where resort-exclusives are up for grabs, when you’re not whiling away time on a sunbed or lunching at Vesta – the club’s new restaurant that serves up Mediterranean cuisine with a contemporary flavour, la dolce vita style.

Parisian powerhouse DIOR was an early adopter of the beach club concept and has had successful return runs at various five star locales around the globe over the past five years. There’s the Jumeirah Capri Palace and Cannes Palm Beach – now in its fourth season – but if you fancy going somewhere with a more exotic drawl, there’s its partnership with the Four Seasons Bali, Jimbaran Bay. The 360 ‘Dioriviera’ takeover of the resort’s Sandara Beach Club includes lush foliage-inspired décor designed by DIOR’s interiors team, exclusive capsule pieces at the on-site boutique and a concept café. For SS25, there are two new offerings on the experience menu, including a sunset picnic with Dioriviera canapés, cooked up by Chef de Cuisine David Gavin, bar takeovers by leading Asian mixologists and a dedicated beauty pop-up to ensure you’re full DIOR-ed up from face to toe.
