COMO Uma Bhutan Eight-Day Film & Photography Expedition

Teaming up with Natural World Safaris and British-American photographer and Kodak Ambassador Michael Turek, COMO’s two lodges in Bhutan, COMO Uma Paro and COMO Uma Punakha launch Bhutan’s first ever Film and Photography Expedition, set to run from 2 to 9 June this year.

Over the eight days, guests will be led by Turek as he shares his methods of shooting on film to encourage photographers to work ‘in the moment’, capturing their surroundings with thought and intention. From the bustling capital of Thimphu with its monuments, museums and markets to the contrasting tropical Punakha Valley and emerald valley of Paro, with its rice paddies and ancient temples, guests will capture stunning landscapes and interesting locals. There will also be walks along winding rivers to sacred monasteries and temples on sheer cliff faces.
