It's the most expensive apartment sold in Paris so far this year

The only thing more exciting than an enormous, luxurious home is an enormous, luxurious home in Paris. This truly opulent property holds the record for the most expensive apartment sold in the French capital in 2023 – and now you can take a look inside.

The gilt-edged, utterly breathtaking charm of a Parisian apartment is difficult to beat. Thanks to its dizzying price tag, however, this fully-furnished duplex apartment on the Champs De Mars is rather unique: featuring a bespoke chef’s kitchen, grand dining room, sumptuous study and four bedroom suites, it sold for €35 million earlier this year.

Step into the double-height entrance hall and you’ll spot a custom-made Bösendorfer grand piano – but this is only the beginning. From the sprawling living room, you can gaze directly at the Eiffel Tower (or at the apartment’s hand-painted ceilings, Versailles parquet flooring and crystal chandeliers, if views of Paris’s most famous landmark somehow become tiresome). The apartment’s interiors were designed by renowned international firm Cogemad, and every inch exudes luxury.

As if the show-stopping views and lavish interiors weren’t enough, however, the apartment also boasts a cinema room, wellness area, gym and wine cellar (which was already filled with exceptional wines for the buyers to enjoy).

Sold through John Taylor Paris, an ultra-luxury agency founded in the South of France, the apartment came in at a frankly mind-boggling €52,000 per square metre. We’ll certainly be dreaming about it for a while.
