Last year, it was announced that Andrew Garfield would play the crucial role of the monster in Guillermo Del Toro’s long-awaited film adaptation of Frankenstein. However, delays and scheduling conflicts have seen Garfield drop out – and it’s been announced that Jacob Elordi will take on the role instead. We’ve got all the details.

If you can’t stop thinking about Saltburn, you’ll be happy to hear that Jacob Elordi has signed on to another huge film: Guillermo Del Toro’s take on Frankenstein, which is set to air on Netflix. The Aussie star will replace Andrew Garfield, who recently left the cast due to scheduling conflicts after delays caused by last year’s SAG-AFTRA strikes.
