Another cohort of single hopefuls has landed in the Love Island villa, eagerly eyeing each other up – as well as the cool £50,000 prize. But where is the Love Island villa? And can you book yourself in for a sun soaked stay? Here’s everything you need to know.

Love Island: Where Is It Filmed?
Since the introduction of summer and winter instalments of the Love Island franchise, the series has become associated with two main locations: Mallorca for the main summer series, and South Africa for winter editions of the series and the current Love Island All Stars spin off.

Where Is The Love Island All Stars Villa?
The current series of Love Island, which has been set up as an ‘all stars’ edition of the show, takes place at Ludus Magnus estate in South Africa. The villa is nestled in the Franschhoek wine valley of Western Cape Province, where personalities from the previous 10 series of the show have gathered for a second chance at love.
Previous winter series have also taken place in South Africa. Those who watched the 2020 edition of the show would have become familiar with Midden Cottage, the ‘villa’ located in the Constantia suburb of Cape Town.

Where Is The Love Island Villa?
The Love Island villa is located near Sant Llorenç des Cardassar in Mallorca. This small town is immersed in a rugged green landscape on the Balearic island’s east coast, tucked away from the tourist hotspot of Palma in the west. Named ‘Sa Vinyassa’, the expansive property – home to its own infinity pool and outdoor kitchen – has an estimated worth of £2.7 million, according to i News. Meanwhile, Casa Amor is filmed at Alchemy Villa, while if you’d like to party at Vibe Club, it’ll be a trip to the Shiva Beach Club in Llucmajor for you.
Love Island superfans will know that Sa Vinyassa is not the original villa, having debuted only in 2022, with the nearby ‘Diseminado Poligono 5’ villa housing the islanders between 2017 and 2021. For the first two seasons (from 2015 to 2016), another villa was used: a stone house in Santanyi, which was listed for sale for £3.1 million in 2021.
In 2023, beady eyed viewers will spot some fresh new flourishes at Sa Vinyassa, with a new neon colour scheme and a brand new day bed. Plus, the villa has had an eco refresh, with brand new solar panels installed nearby to reduce the show’s carbon impact – which pairs well with the renewed partnership with pre-loved fashion champions, eBay.
Can You Stay In The Love Island Villa?
Yes, but it’ll set you back £5,000 per week. Plus, because the villa is totally transformed by the ITV team, it won’t look anything like the iconic house we see on TV, with all of the colour, neon decals and slogans and plethora of beds removed. But perhaps that’s a good thing. In fact, the rustic villa is almost unrecognisable on its Fincallorca listing, with wooden sunbeds overlooking the infinity pool, exposed natural stone and shady wooden pergolas.
In case you get your hopes up: there’s also no firepit, the outdoor kitchen is very different, and the terrace is constructed by the ITV team for the series. Even the stairs are different, with a minimalist white set constructed atop the real villa’s wooden steps with iron bannisters.
