We’re already three months into 2023, which can only mean one thing: spring is here, with summer not too far behind it. Get ready to celebrate the warm weather with the latest collaboration between Emilia Wickstead and goop, as they launch a new collection of fashion and homeware for the season.

Emilia Wickstead Launches New Collection With Goop

Spring has sprung on both sides of the pond, it seems. London-based fashion designer Emilia Wickstead has teamed up with lifestyle brand goop (owned by American actress and businesswoman Gwyneth Paltrow) on a limited edition collection of ready-to-wear and homeware spring essentials.

Offering a playful take on the English garden party, the collection takes inspiration from photographs of flowers taken by Cecil Beaton at his Wiltshire country home, Reddish House. Dresses, sets and jumpsuits are decorated with English roses, splashed across fabric in shades of navy, powder blue and sunny yellow in a tribute to goop’s signature colours. Clothing has been designed to be mix and matched, worn for daytime celebrations and evening events alike.

A small selection of homeware similarly follows this trend, with Italian linen tablecloths and napkins covered in blue florals.

Paltrow has been a long-time fan of Wickstead, having loved the designer’s attention to craftsmanship and signature delicate, feminine designs. The actress, recalling how she launched goop from her kitchen table in London almost 15 years ago, also commented how she saw the collaboration ‘felt true to the brand roots’.

Emilia Wickstead And Goop Take Over Claridge’s

This kind of collaboration calls for a celebration, and what better way to do so than with afternoon tea? Emilia Wickstead and goop have announced they will be partnering with The Maybourne Beverly Hills, which owns the iconic Claridge’s in London, to host an exclusively afternoon tea residency. Available for one weekend only, the special afternoon tea menu will be available only at Claridge’s and feature California-inspired treats with ‘a distinctive goop twist’.

When And Where Will The Collection Be Available?
