What Are The Fashion Awards?
The Fashion Awards, otherwise known as TFA, is an award show organised by the British Fashion Council every year to showcase a global community of fashion creativity in London. The awards spotlight and support the next generation of creative talent across menswear, womenswear and modelling. This is also the primary fundraiser for the BFC Foundation, which focuses on providing education, grants and business mentoring to young brands.
Who Hosted?
Two-time BAFTA and Oscar nominated actor, playwright and director Colman Domingo hosted this year’s edition of the Fashion Awards. He followed in the footsteps of previous hosts Maya Jama, Kojey Radical, Jodie Turner-Smith, Billy Porter, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Lewis Hamilton, Maisie Williams and Rosalía.
‘Colman Domingo has had a standout year in film, television, and theatre,’ said Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council, Laura Weir. ‘He’s a fashion icon whose red-carpet style has set a fresh agenda for men’s fashion. As host of The Fashion Awards 2025, he brings the presence, spark and originality that makes him such a compelling figure on and off screen.’

The list will also be used as a purpose-built portal for industry professionals, to help support and inform the curation of teams for creative projects. Each person on the list was voted in by the previous year’s NEW WAVE cohort, and then defined by an influential industry panel featuring some of the global fashion community’s most respected voices.
‘NEW WAVE: Creatives capture the pulse of the current fashion landscape – bold ideas, diverse perspectives and boundary-breaking talent,’ said Weir. ‘These are the creatives reimagining what fashion can be in storytelling, image-making and culture. We can’t wait to honour them this December.”
