Could this be the year you complete the gruelling fitness challenge?
If you’re tuned into the fitness side of TikTok, no doubt you’ll have noticed an influx of videos of people dragging sleds, throwing balls at walls and sweating it on the ski erg lately – all in the name of Hyrox. The notoriously tough workout is having a moment, with over 1.5 million people having competed in one of its races around the world since the challenge began in 2017 (and a 100 percent year-on-year increase in participation). Events take place all over the world, but the uptick in interest means getting a place is akin to landing Glastonbury tickets, particularly in cities like London. So how can you secure your spot? Here’s everything you need to know about getting Hyrox tickets.
Hyrox Tickets: Everything You Need To Know
What Are The 8 Hyrox Exercises?
First thing’s first, what are you actually signing up for? The indoor challenge always follows the same format: there are eight workout stations, split up with a 1k run between each – with the aim being to finish as fast as possible. The exercises are:
- 1km ski erg
- 50m sled push
- 50m sled pull
- 80m burpee broad jump
- 1km row
- 200m kettlebell farmers carry
- 100m sandbag lunge
- 100 reps wall balls
Elite athletes can complete the course in under an hour, but the average finish time is around 90 minutes. There’s no cut off time, though, so participants can take the challenge at their own pace.
How Do You Get Hyrox Tickets?
You can either sign up individually, in pairs, or as a relay team of four. Tickets are available via the official website on a first-come, first-served basis, as the company has now moved away from its original ballot system. Keep an eye out for when the ticket drop is for your chosen race, and be ready to go straight away – the last London race sold out in minutes. If you don’t manage to secure a spot, join the waiting list. There are also a few Facebook groups where Hyrox tickets can be sold, but not swapped or exchanged.
How Much Does Hyrox Cost?
Prices for entry vary, but in the UK you can expect to spend around £100 on a ticket if you’re competing as an individual. Doubles are slightly less, usually costing around £139 for two people. If you’re going to cheer on a friend, spectator tickets are around £12.50.

Where Does Hyrox Take Place?
Hyrox started in Hamburg, Germany, but now races take place in over 30 cities around the world. In the UK, there are still events to come in London and Cardiff in 2026. Elsewhere in Europe, races are happening in cities including Barcelona, Valencia, Rotterdam, Lisbon and Rome.
When Is The Next London Hyrox?
The next London Hyrox takes place from 2 – 6 December 2026 at ExCeL London, with tickets dropping online soon; stay tuned here for release date information.
How To Train For Hyrox
Once you manage to nab tickets, it’s time to start training. The best way to start is by signing up to a series of dedicated Hyrox classes, which take place at gyms across the country including Gymbox, PureGym and Fitness First. Once you know the ropes, you can train yourself by working on your form and endurance for each of the different exercise stations, which include burpee broad jumps, sandbag lunges and rowing. It’s important to do plenty of running too, as the race includes running a total of 8km across eight 1km intervals, interspersed with workout circuits. It’s also worth checking out the new dedicated Hyrox training programme from Peloton: a 12-week plan available on the Peloton app and hardware.
