The Country & Town House Responsible Buyers’ Guide
Morris & Co.
Dory Wallpaper, £194 per roll
Morris & Co. has launched a landmark new wallpaper collection inspired by visionary architect and designer C.F.A. Voysey – a leading figure in the Arts and Crafts movement. This whimsical range sees Morris & Co. transforming Voysey’s nature-inspired drawings into designs that feel both historically significant and contemporary. The Dory Wallpaper, for instance, features Voysey’s archival Dory fish reworked in an etched style, set against a washed background.
Sofa Club
The Lissy Accent Chair in Moss Shadow Luxe Chenille, £699
The newest piece in Sofa Club’s edit with Lissy Roddy is a low, boxy chair on a polished chrome frame. Deep channelled cushions come in a moss-green chenille, which warms up the sleek metal. It takes its cue from mid-century design and is made to be a room’s focal point, not just to fill a corner.
Maya Brenner
Monogram Necklace with Birthstone (Pink Tourmaline, White Gold), £375
Maya Brenner’s signature Asymmetrical Letter Necklace gets a jewel-toned update this season, pairing a hand-set birthstone with your chosen initial on the same fine cable chain. Each piece is crafted in solid 14k gold at the brand’s London studio, with sixteen birthstone options and a choice of yellow, white or rose gold. You’ll never need to take it off.
Loewe
aura.matic coffee machine, £5,000
Loewe’s foray into kitchen hardware arrives in the shape of the aura.matic, a bean-to-cup machine built to be looked at as much as used. Cased in aluminium, glass and real wood, with a glass door that closes over the machinery when it’s not in use, it swaps the usual countertop clutter for something closer to a piece of furniture. Under the hood: a dual-bean system, eighteen coffee specialities, touchscreen controls and app connectivity.
Diptyque
Advent Calendar, £420
Diptyque’s 2026 advent calendar opens its Enchanted Forest collection, and it’s a beauty. Shaped like a wood-turner’s toolbox and illustrated with festive scenes by artist Jean-Simon Roch, it hides 25 windows of candles, discovery-size eau de parfum, bodycare and pieces for the home. Wood runs through everything, down to the timber lids and bottle caps. Look out for Sapin, the collection’s signature scent, a resinous blend of Siberian fir, balsam fir, cedarwood and moss that smells just like a freshly cut tree.
Ottoman Hands
Birthstone Pendant Necklace, £99
Ottoman Hands has made a pendant for every birth month, 12 in all, each handcrafted around a natural, sustainably sourced gemstone. They are set in 18ct gold-plated recycled sterling silver and designed for everyday wear. Wear one on its own or layer them up.
Le Chameau
Vierzon Boot, £190
Vierzonord Boot, £230
In need of some wet weather reinforcement? With drizzly autumn days approaching, now’s the time to kit out your feet with the right pair of wellington boots. Le Chameau has prepared for the new season by reimagining two of its most recognisable boot styles, the Vierzon and Vierzonord, in an autumnal oxblood finish. The solid craftsmanship stays the same – handcrafted by a single Maître Bottier and made from Chamolux, Le Chameau’s signature rubber recipe – which is only made all the more appealing by the boots’ fresh look.
Rodial
The Peel 3-Step At-Home Kit £118
Skin sending out an SOS? As we drift from summer to autumn, the change in weather can cause all kinds of havoc on our skin. When the situation calls for a reset, look no further than Rodial. The brand brings a professional-looking peel from the clinic straight to your bathroom shelf with its new at-home kit, which is designed to deliver smoother, brighter and fresher-looking skin in just three steps. Finisterre x Blundstone
Chelsea Boots, £220
It’s been five years since Finisterre teamed up with Aussie shoe brand Blundstone – and we’ve been waiting (impatiently) for another collaboration ever since. But it seems our wishes have been answered this season, as the duo return with two new footwear styles designed to be worn for years, not seasons. Our top pick is the Chelsea boot, a Finisterre take on Blundstone’s signature silhouette, crafted from premium waxed suede and boasting a water-repellent finish. (Perfect for navigating autumn’s drizzly forecasts.) Team up your boots with a pair of Finisterre x Blundstone socks, made from 100 percent Merino wool, for a comfy finish.
LOQUET
Eternity Diamond Baguette Locket 18k, £20,000
Love & Luck Diamond Clover Charm, £3,800
Cult jewellery brand Loquet has just unveiled its brand new diamond collection, reimagining its signature locket in two new styles lined with baguette diamonds, alongside a collection of all-diamond charms. A first for the brand, all pieces have also been cut from 18k gold. The new charms, a clover and cross, pair beautifully with the new diamond lockets but, as always, are deigned to be mix and matched between all of Loquet’s lockets.
Lulu Guinness
Orange Croc Rita Crossbody Bag, £195
Autumn doesn’t mean letting go of colour for another six months. Lulu Guinness’s Orange Croc Rita Crossbody Bag brings a little slice of sunshine to every outfit, with the perfect phone-sized accessory to take you through party season and beyond.
Boadicea The Victorious
Andraste, £295
Looking for a new signature scent? The latest release from Boadicea the Victorious, Andraste, captures a day in an English walled garden – making it the perfect fragrance for the transitional season. Expect the brand’s signature layered, complex scent profile: Andraste opens on fresh herbs like thyme and eucalyptus, before honeysuckle, jasmine and rose bloom at its heart, with a warm base of leather, orris and musky ambrette anchoring everything together. Named for the Celtic goddess of courage, this floral fragrance has real staying power.
Musto
Women’s Burnham Waterproof Jacket, £285
With the heat of summer settling down, we can turn our attention to the next seasonal event: autumn showers. If you’re looking to evade the rain in style, look no further than Musto. Ideal for countryside adventures – whether you’re hiking through fields, walking the dog or simply trekking to the pub – the brand’s latest waterproof jacket feature snag-resistant brushed fabric that’s kitted out with Musto’s Ocean Tech™. The result? Wet weather protection, with added breathability.
