Wildflowers
The clue’s in the name: new Belgravia restaurant Wildflowers is the perfect spot for a post flower show-meal. Located just a five-minute walk from Royal Hospital Chelsea, it serves Mediterranean fare inspired by the relaxed dining cultures of Spain, France and Italy. Inside is beautifully designed, featuring vintage furniture and freshly cut flowers, but if it’s a sunny day nab a spot in the courtyard, which will be open every day throughout the show from 9am, offering fresh coffee and pastries. After lunch? Tuck into dishes like rabbit and cuttlefish paella, and grilled Iberico pork chop.

Sloane Place Restaurant
Sloane Place Restaurant, found within boutique hotel and members’ club Sloane Place, is looking better than ever thanks to a recent revamp. Head chef George Scott-Toft has refreshed the menu, too, focusing on seasonal British produce: think beef carpaccio, yellowtail tartare, veal schnitzel and grilled salmon with pink fir potatoes. Pop in during Chelsea Flower Show to try the new menu, and check out the Chelsea in Bloom flower display.

Stanley’s
With its olive-tree bedecked courtyard inspired by a quintessential English garden, Stanley’s is well suited to Chelsea Flower Show dining. Amid this pretty setting, you can enjoy fresh seasonal dishes, with the current menu including spring dishes like wild garlic risotto, whole lemon sole with brown shrimp butter, and burrata with marinated courgettes and basil. Pair with cocktails like the signature Stanley’s Elderflower Collins, or choose from the carefully crafted wine menu, which includes a good selection of English sparkling wine.

Spring Garden at Chelsea Flower Show
Within the show itself, visitors can enjoy fine dining at Spring Garden, which is being helmed by Skye Gyngell alongside Spanish chef José Pizarro. Situated within the grounds of Royal Hospital Chelsea, the pop-up dining experience will include a selection of al fresco chalets which can be reserved for private dining, with the option to include nature walks and live music too. This year, Pizarro will bring a Spanish spin to British classics, made with locally sourced, organic produce. Sample menus include British heritage tomatoes with burrata and black olives, spring pea tortellini, and pistachio Basque cheesecake, alongside a selection of cocktails made using homemade liquors and infusions.
Daphne’s
A neighbourhood stalwart, Daphne’s has been on the Chelsea scene for over 55 years now. With its marble-topped bar and Venetian glass chandeliers, the restaurant has always been a beautiful spot – but even more so during Chelsea Flower Show. Each year, it transforms into a horticultural oasis for Chelsea in Bloom, so keep your eyes peeled for another showstopping display in 2025.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden
With its flower-festooned facade and glorious outdoor area, The Ivy Chelsea Garden fits in well with the flower show aesthetic. The restaurant always pulls out all the stops for its themed installation, as well as adding specially created dishes and drinks to its menu. Open from breakfast through to dinner, it’s a failsafe option for dining during the flower show, whether it’s a quick coffee before heading into the event or an evening meal (if it’s the latter, don’t miss the signature Ivy shepherd’s pie).

No. Fifty Cheyne
You can’t miss this riverside oasis, with its striking blue façade covered in flowers. Inside is equally stylish, with a private country house feel, plus a menu serving British pub classics with a twist. Jason Atherton protégé Iain Smith helms the kitchen, with a mix of seafood dishes, salads and grills on offer, alongside an excellent brunch offering. Upstairs, there’s a whimsical-inspired bar overlooking Cheyne Gardens and the River Thames, which makes a lovely spot for a cocktail after the flower show.

The Surprise
With its peach walls, grand fireplaces and chintzy wallpaper, The Surprise is now a strong contender for the most chic pub in Chelsea. Visit to soak up its lively atmosphere and enjoy a beer or glass of vino from the extensive wine list – or stay for a meal, with an array of elevated pub classics on offer alongside small plates and bar snacks.

Vardo
Bang in the middle of Duke of York Square sits Vardo, Caravan’s West London outpost housed inside a state-of-the-art glass pavilion. The restaurant offers a ‘no boundaries’ concept inspired by the Romani travelling wagons of the 1800s, which would travel around the world collecting flavours along the way. It’s a great spot for brunch, with everything from smoothie bowls to French toast on offer, alongside small plates, pizzas, mezze boards and more. Pop in any time of day during Chelsea Flower Show for a coffee (or cocktail) and a bite to eat.
