Emily in Paris Season 4 Is Coming This August

It’s official: we now have a release date for the next instalment of Emily in Paris. Netflix announced earlier this week the show will be returning in two parts with five episodes each; we can expect Part 1 of season 4 to air on 15 August 2024, and Part 2 on 12 September 2024.

Emily in Paris is the latest show to be hit by Netflix’s two-pronged streaming strategy, following in the footsteps of other big name titles like Bridgerton, You and Stranger Things.

What Is The Show About?

Netflix’s romcom streaming series has been a hit since it first aired in 2020, and follows titular character Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) as she makes the move from Chicago to Paris after landing her dream job at a French marketing firm. Navigating the ups and downs of Parisian life, Emily in Paris documents Emily’s journey in a new city as she juggles work, friends and romance.

What Happens In Emily in Paris Season 4?

Season 3 ended on a bit of a cliff-hanger, with Alfie ending his relationship with Emily after Camille revealed that Emily and Gabriel still have feelings for each other – as well as announcing that she was now pregnant with Gabriel’s baby. Emily, understandably upset with what’s going on around her, now needs to gather herself together and sort through her own feelings. As Netflix summarises:

‘After the dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misbegotten wedding, Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed.

At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups.

Mindy and the band prepare for Eurovision, but when funds run dry, they’re forced to get thrifty.

Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of.’

Who’s In It?

Lucky for us, there have been no dramatic exits from the show since season 3 – meaning we can expect most of the cast to make a return for Emily in Paris season 4. The current list of returning main cast members includes:

  • Lily Collins as Emily
  • Ashley Park as Mindy
  • Lucas Bravo as Gabriel
  • Lucien Laviscount as Alfie
  • Camille Razat as Camille
  • Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie
  • Samuel Arnold as Julien
  • William Abadie as Antoine
  • Bruno Gouery as Luc

Is There A Trailer?

There isn’t an official trailer for Emily in Paris per se, but Netflix did release an announcement earlier this May teasing what viewers can expect from the upcoming season. Watch it below:
