From mystical Halloween parties in Marylebone townhouses to squash workshops and ghost tours around the city, read on for some ideas on how to celebrate spooky season in 2025.

How To Celebrate Halloween In London 2025

Go To A Halloween Party

Sky Garden

There’s a big rooftop party taking place at Sky Garden, where you can sip cocktails, enjoy live music and soak up sweeping city views – all in the name of Halloween. Costumes are very much encouraged, and special performances will bring fun, themed twists to the evening, with the option to go all out and book VIP tables complete with champagne.

Halloween at Bacchanalia

Bacchanalia

You can always count on Bacchanalia, Mayfair’s opulent Greek-inspired restaurant, to bring the drama. This Halloween, the eatery is transforming its cocktail lounge Apollo’s Muse for two nights of partying, complete with live performances, soundscapes and theatrical installations inspired by ancient myths. DJs including Stryv and DJ Diass will be bringing the tunes until the early hours.

Joia

Head upwards to Battersea’s rooftop restaurant Joia, which is introducing a Halloween-inspired menu featuring dishes like Txangurro Spider Crab and Arroz Negro (grilled octopus and prawns). Afterwards, continue the celebrations at Pérola on the 14th floor, where the bar team will be mixing up cocktails including the Poisoned Apple, a mix of Plymouth Dry Gin, Lillet Blanc and red wine. There will also be live entertainment, DJs and a Marilyn Monroe burlesque band.

Exterior of Home House with Halloween projections

Home House

Marylebone members’ club Home House is famed for its wild Halloween party. This year’s theme is The Lost Forest, which will see the Georgian townhouse transformed into an otherworldly space for the night. It’s a collaboration with Belvedere, so no doubt there will be vodka cocktails aplenty, but aside from that it all remains pretty elusive. What we do know, though, is that you’re in for a fun night filled with surprises and scares.

When? 31 October 2025

Where? 20 Portman Square, London W1H 6LW

The Mandrake

Another big hitter on London’s Halloween scene is the annual party at five-star hotel The Mandrake. With its surrealist decor, the venue has an otherworldly feel year-round, but it ups the ante come October, taking on an ‘Into The Woods’ theme for 2025. Costumes are a must: the dress code is ‘Children of the Forest’, and if that means nothing to you fear not, there’s a dedicated Pinterest board for inspiration. Think spiky flower crowns, torn green dresses, horns and cloaked chains.

When? 25 October, 8pm – 3am

Visit A Haunted Pub

Go for a pint at one of the many London pubs rumoured to be haunted. Three ghosts are believed to haunt Hampstead’s The Spaniard’s Inn, including infamous highway robber Dick Turpin, who used the pub as a hideout during the 1700s. At Belgravia’s The Grenadier, meanwhile, there have been whisperings of mysterious moans and footsteps (the story goes that a soldier named Cedric was killed there after being caught cheating at cards). See our haunted pubs guide for more ideas of where to go.
