Charlie Day Gardens x The Talbot

After discovering the remains of shells embedded in the wall of a recess under one of its garden terraces, The Talbot hotel in Malton enlisted the help of Charlie Day Gardens to create this enchanting ‘shell grotto’. Based on designs of Italian Renaissance grottos, this iteration has been update with a McKinnon and Harris bench, Campbell-Rey Murano glasses, and an Alexandra Llewellyn backgammon set in Ziricote wood, inlayed with hand-illustrated palm leaves.

Gaze Burvill x Randle Siddeley

Gaze Burvill’s new Meander 3 (designed in collaboration with gardener and landscape designer, Randle Siddeley) is a first for garden furniture, seating three for relaxed afternoon conversations that wind into the evening. British design house Woodchip & Magnolia have joined forces with fashion designer Pearl Lowe for a collection of four fabrics and wallpapers with a vintage twist. One for the budding art collectors: renowned artist and print maker Guy Allen has collaborated with London and Norfolk-based Kelling Designs.
