From the Beckhams to the royals, these are the schools beloved by the British elite
Britain is world-renowned for its private schools, with many celebrities sending their children to top-notch institutions up and down the country. Where have David and Victoria Beckham sent their daughter Harper to school? Where was Kate Moss’ daughter educated? And which British schools are fit for a (future) king? All is revealed below.
Where Do Celebrity Children Go To School?

When Harper was still a pupil at Glendower, Victoria posted a jokey photo in Instagram of her only daughter
Harper Beckham
Harper is the only Beckham child to still be in school, with her siblings Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz now all in their 20s. While the 14-year-old’s current school stays undisclosed for privacy reasons, she previously attended Glendower Prep in South Kensington. The all-girls school, where fees are more than ÂŁ22,000 per year, was also attended by Rishi Sunak’s daughters. When Harper was still a pupil at Glendower, Victoria Beckham posted a jokey photo in Instagram (above) of her only daughter wearing the school’s purple gingham uniform wearing a mask of her dad.
Romeo and Cruz Beckham
Unlike their brother Brooklyn, who was schooled in the US, Romeo and Cruz Beckham were educated entirely at British schools. As young children both boys attended Wetherby School, an elite pre-prep in Notting Hill with alumni including Princes William and Harry. For prep and senior school Romeo and Cruz went on to coeducational Millfield School in Somerset, which is well-known for its sports programmes. The brothers both trained with the Arsenal Academy while studying at Millfield.

Prince George
Prince George recently started at Eton College, continuing in his father’s footsteps to attend the world’s most prestigious school. In addition to Princes William and Harry, alumni of this 600-year-old boys’ school include David Cameron, Eddie Redmayne, George Orwell, Tom Hiddleston and even Bear Grylls. Before moving to Eton for senior school – where fees exceed ÂŁ65,000 per year – Prince George attended Lambrook School in Berkshire and Thomas’s Battersea in south London. But where have other members of the Royal Family been to school? Find out here.
Damian Hurley
Liz Hurley’s only child left school in 2020, having spent his high school years at ÂŁ22,000-a-year Wellington College in Berkshire. Before this, the 24-year-old actor and model was a boarder at Summer Fields in Oxford from age eight while his mother was filming for Gossip Girl. ‘I know some people had a horrible time, but I loved it,’ he told The Standard earlier this year.

The daughter of Kate Moss, Lila graduated from Hampstead Fine Arts College around five years ago before following in her mother’s footsteps to become a model. This specialist arts school in north London boasts a long list of successful alumni, including Helena Bonham Carter, Orlando Bloom, Brooklyn Beckham, Eliza Doolittle and Rafferty Law. For ÂŁ11,700-ÂŁ12,750 a term, students can choose from more than 20 A level subjects or follow a UAL-accredited foundation course in fine art, fashion or communication.

Princess Charlotte
Taking after her older brother George, Princess Charlotte attends Lambrook School in Berkshire, where term fees range from ÂŁ10,270 to ÂŁ11,176 for prep pupils. Currently in year seven, the princess will remain at Lambrook for two more years; it’s not yet known where she will go to senior school, but her mother Catherine, Princess of Wales attended Downe House in Berkshire before transferring to ÂŁ64,000-a-year Marlborough College. As a young girl Charlotte was educated at Willcocks Nursery in Kensington and Thomas’s Battersea in south London.
Krishna Sunak
The eldest of Rishi Sunak’s two daughters has been at Wycombe Abbey, an all-girls senior school in Buckinghamshire, for the last four years. Charging ÂŁ21,000 per term in fees, it well known as one of Britain’s best institutions and was named the best UK girls’ boarding school by The Sunday Times in 2024. Krishna previously attended Glendower Prep alongside her younger sister Anoushka and Harper Beckham.
