Oma, London Bridge
After creating cult Shoreditch restaurant Manteca, David Carter has done it again. His latest venture, Oma, has become one of London’s buzziest restaurants since opening in Borough Market in 2024, securing a Michelin star earlier this year. The eatery is focused around the cuisine of Greece and its surrounding coastal regions, with a focus on ethically farmed meats and whole animal butchery. At the centre sits a live fire grill, which sizzles up everything from red mullet to Cornish squid with za’atar oil, alongside sharing plates like charred lamb belly with hummus, tuna ceviche, and langoustines with dill and chilli butter.
