Honey & Co
Husband-and-wife chef duo Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich met while working at Joya, an Italian restaurant in Herzliya, Israel. Two years later, they moved to London, working at various restaurants across the city – but in 2012, they fulfilled a lifelong dream of opening their own place, Honey & Co. Located on pretty Lamb’s Conduit Street in Bloomsbury, the eatery has grown to become one of the capital’s best-loved Middle Eastern restaurants, known for its vibrant, flavour-packed fare. Kick things off with a pickled guindilla chilli margarita and some sharing nibbles: creamy hummus and pitta, and some Yemeni-style falafel. If you can’t choose, go for the summer sharing menu, where you’ll get a colourful spread of mezze followed by your choice of main. We’d particularly recommend the roasted aubergine with a BBQ tahini crust, or the pomegranate molasses chicken jewelled with pistachios – both delicious, and very generously portioned, so go hungry!
